About us

Financial infrastructure, built in Africa, for Africa.

Afripulse Pay Ltd is an African fintech company dedicated to building secure, interoperable and innovative digital payment solutions that accelerate financial inclusion, cross-border trade and digital economic transformation across Africa.

We deliver regulated Payment Initiation Services (PIS) and Payment Account Information Services (AIS) through secure Open Banking APIs and digital financial infrastructure — enabling consumers, businesses, financial institutions, governments and fintech innovators to access and initiate financial services with customer consent.

Payment Initiation Services let authorised third parties initiate payments from a customer's bank account. Account Information Services securely access account information such as balances and transaction history. Both happen only with the customer's explicit authorisation — never without it.

Mission

To promote financial inclusion, simplify digital payments and enable seamless cross-border transactions across the continent. By supporting SMEs, strengthening regional integration under the AfCFTA and fostering innovation through Open Banking and Open Finance, we empower governments, banks, fintechs and businesses with a trusted digital financial infrastructure.

Vision

To become Africa's leading trusted Open Finance and Digital Payments platform — connecting every African business and citizen through secure, innovative and interoperable financial services.

How it works

Four steps between intent and settlement.

Every transaction starts with the customer and ends with a confirmation both sides can trust. Credentials never leave the bank, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Connect

A merchant, bank, government body or fintech integrates once against our Open Banking API.

Consent

The customer authorises the payment or the data request directly with their own bank or wallet.

Execute

We route the instruction to the right rail — bank, mobile money or cross-border corridor.

Confirm

Both parties receive real-time confirmation, with monitoring and reconciliation built in.

Core services

Two regulated services. One integration.

Everything we build sits on top of these two licensed capabilities.
